Serving

Cake is best served if left in room temperature for 30 minutes / 1 hour as it warms up and softens.

If you are not planning to serve the cake on the same day, I recommend covering it with cling wrap or transferring it into an airtight container.

Pairing

Medovnik cake is delicious with your favourite cup of tea, coffee, strawberries, cream or vanilla ice-cream.

Storing

This cake gets better with time and tastes even more delicious the next day (if there are any leftovers!). Store in the fridge for up to 7 days. Cake can be sliced and frozen for a couple of months.
